Where North-South streets meet the Chesapeake Bay, public access
is provided to the beach by bay front greens and paths. The greens, each
of which has its own unique character, are lined with homes set back
just enough from the water to provide each with a view of the Bay.
East Beach is connected by a series of neighborhood parks, whose
linear design allows long views to the bay. Stands of mature trees offer
a shady, welcoming place for a stroll, a game of Frisbee®, or an impromptu
picnic with family and friends. Cozy pocket parks situated throughout the
neighborhood and visible from nearly every lot allow parents to watch their
children play from the comfort of their front porch.
Currently, the green adjacent to the Bay Front Club boasts a giant chess
set. Eventually, most of the greens and parks will play host to a variety
of games and activities such as croquet and bocce ball.
