Wayne Foshay, Beachtowne Builders' principal builder, met his associate Jerry Collier on the Norview High School football field in 1959. They have been best friends ever since and have teamed up to become one of Norfolk's finest home builders.

Beachtowne Builders, a division of Beachtowne Realty Corporation, was established in 1974 and has built homes and commercial buildings in the mid-Atlantic region for 30 years.

Spending their high school days with friends at the Ocean View beaches, Wayne and Jerry's history in Ocean View goes back a few years. They are excited about the renaissance in Ocean View, and in particular, about being a part of this remarkable East Beach development.

Wayne enjoyed a successful career as a naval aviator, retiring after 30 years as a Captain. Jerry, a professional engineer and a real estate broker, also served in the Navy as a Civil Engineer Corps officer and completed a tour in Vietnam with the Navy Seabees.
