Charles Schmitt was born and raised in Hampton Roads. His passion for building began when he went into business as a framing and interior trim subcontractor in 1977. He began building custom homes in 1996. Charles knows what it takes to meet and exceed his client's expectations when it comes to their new homes.

Charles has seen the area grow and change during his years here. After hearing about the vision of a coastal village taking place at East Beach, he got involved and joined the team. He noted that the Tidewater area has never experienced a community like East Beach. He was impressed with the architectural style and integrity of the homes, which reflect the turn-of-the-century buildings of Ocean View and Tidewater.

Charles A. Schmitt is active in Homearama and participated in last year's show. He brings a passion for building and a hands-on, personal commitment to his clients. His years in business speak for themselves.
